On the tracks of the Renaissance: Giardini Italiani by BVLGARI
Recently the important Rome -based Jewelry House Bvlgari unveiled his new High Jewelry collection -“Giardini Italiani” in Villa di Maiano, located in Fiesole outside Florence. The collection which comprises 100 unique jewels is inspired by the Italian gardens that flourished during the Renaissance.The event was hosted by Bvlgari CEO-Jean-Cristophe Babin and gorgeous Carla Bruni, who is a regular in the brand’s campaigns.
Each jewel is a real artwork, only the most skilled goldsmiths have been allowed to create these gorgeous jewellery adornments which are handcrafted keeping the unique mastership and utmost attention to details.
The stunning collection includes fabulous “Water Symphony” necklace made of sapphires, diamond necklace “Magical Reflections”,”Hidden Treasures” earrings with 143ct emeralds, the unique “Love’s Paradise” necklace with an impressive 125,35ct sapphire (worn by Carla Bruni during the event), Secret Garden and Spring Encounter jewels, inspired by the Botticelli’s masterpieces. The Spring Encounter necklace is a modern view of the classic version created in 1969, made of yellow gold and corals.
The magnificent italian gardens’ geometry is reflected in the design of watches. There are 4 unique pieces made of : corals and amethysts, mother-of-pearl and diamonds, emeralds and turquoises, sapphires and rubellites.
The “Sparkling Hearts” is a modern interpretation of classic brooches Tremblant by Bvlgari. Its design is inspired by italian flowerbeds: the pendant-tassel resembles a bloomy bud, the square element of the necklace -palace -park ensemble with a bird’s eye view. The necklace is a transformer: the pendant-tassel can be detached, the square pendant becomes a brooch.
The “Giardini Italiani” collection is an enchanted world of precious perfection, reflecting a refined fantasy world which symbolizes femininity and gracefulness.
